Congratulations to the students at Oak Hall and their coaches Tim Tusing and John Salisbury. Their team accomplishments include:

Oak Hall’s kindergarten team won the National Championships the last three years (2008, 2007 and 2007) at the National K-12 grade level championships.

Oak Hall’s first grade team won the National Championships in 2008 at the National K-12 grade level championships.

Oak Hall’s K-1, K-3 and K-5 teams swept the Florida super state championships the last two years (2007 and 2008).

Oak Hall’s K-1, K-3 and K-5 teams swept the Florida Invitational  Super Stars tournament the last two years (2007 and 2008).

Also, Tim Tusing was awarded Chess Coach of the year by the FSCL in 2006-2007
